Visa Requirement
It is recommended to apply as early as possible for a Visa as the application process can be time-consuming. Visa regulations depend on your nationality and country of origin.
Currently, citizens from all EU countries and most of Latin American countries, as well as visitors from Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United States do not need a visa to enter Uruguay up to 90 days. Regulations, however, are subject to change. It is therefore recommended that you check whether or not you require a visa.
For information regarding visa requirements, please visit the National Directorate of Migration or visit your local Embassy (or Consulate) of Uruguay for more information.
